PharosLife is built to do more than store your family’s information. It’s built to act on it. Today, it guides families through the hardest event first: losing a loved one, with a prioritized, personalized plan from the first 24 hours through the first year and beyond.

You can create and manage plans for yourself or for someone you support—like a parent, partner, or loved one.

PharosLife connects a family. A parent can hold the main account, keep plans for their children, and help set up a plan for their own parents, so three generations can be organized in one place. When the time is right, a plan can be handed over, such as to a child who has grown up. Everyone sees only what they need, from a child’s pediatrician to the pet sitter’s instructions.

Each person’s plan is kept separate. If you start a plan for a living adult, you can invite them to confirm it or take it over, and some details, like their health information, need their agreement first. If someone has died, you can start a step-by-step roadmap for what to do next.

PharosLife is designed to help you coordinate with the people who may need to step in—so everyone is aligned and informed.

Nothing is shared until you share it. You can give someone edit or view-only access to your whole plan, one area, or a single section, and they see only what you give them. On the Family plan, family members can also share individual details with each other. Viewing is always free. Letting someone outside your Family plan edit is a paid add-on, billed monthly for each person.

The person you name as your Backup. They can’t see anything while you are well.

If they tell us you have died or can no longer manage your affairs, we email you straight away with a link that stops the request in one click. If we don’t hear from you within 7 days, your account passes to them, and every change they make after that is recorded.

Only what you choose to add, and only with your permission.

When you sign up, we ask two separate questions: whether we may hold sensitive personal and financial details, and whether we may hold health details. You can say no to either and still use PharosLife. You can change your mind later, and withdrawing permission permanently deletes that information.

At this time, we are not asking for or storing Social Security numbers, full account or card numbers, passwords, or documents. Your plan records where things are and who to contact, not the keys to them.

Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never sell your data.

At PharosLife, we take the security and privacy of your personal information very seriously. We utilize a variety of safeguards designed to protect your data:

• Encryption: We encrypt your data both at rest, when it is stored in our systems, and in transit, whenever it is being transmitted between your device and our servers. This encryption is intended to protect your information from unauthorized access.
• Multi-factor authentication: PharosLife offers multi-factor authentication, which requires an additional form of identity verification beyond a password to access your account. Enabling this feature provides an extra layer of protection against unauthorized access attempts.

While no system can be completely guaranteed secure, we strive to implement robust security measures following industry best practices. The protection of your personal information is extremely important to us, and we are committed to continuously enhancing our security posture.
